WELCOME TO FINDYOURPOLICY.com
FindYourPolicy.com is designed to ensure that the beneficiaries you name actually receive financial assets like life insurance benefits, safe deposit box contents, bank and certain types of investment accounts. Many times, when a life insurance policy holder passes away, his or her beneficiaries don’t know where the life insurance policy was held, which can mean that the benefits are delayed or never paid out.

Did you know?

Over $1 billion in insurance policies goes unclaimed each year due to lost or unknown beneficiaries.

Why?

Financial institutions are not required to find and notify heirs about policies and assets that their loved ones have left behind, and they are not automatically notified about a member or customer’s passing. Your life insurance company and your bank want your beneficiaries to receive the assets that you have left them – but they may not know how to contact them!

Take this test: Who are your life insurance policy beneficiaries?

  • Do they know they are your named beneficiaries?
  • Will they remember in 12 or 30 years, at the time of your passing?
  • Will they know which bank, insurance company, or financial institution to contact?
The problem is clear. The answer is simple: FindYourPolicy.com

FindYourPolicy.com helps to protect your financial assets by maintaining the connections between you, your financial institutions, and your beneficiaries. The financial assets that FindYourPolicy can help with include things like: life insurance policies, bank accounts, safe deposit box contents, and certain types of investment accounts.

Here’s how it works:

When you buy a life insurance policy and you sign up for FindYourPolicy.com, you are entered into our database, along with the names of your beneficiaries and the institution(s) that hold(s) your policy, account, and/or safe deposit box. Every month, we send you and your beneficiaries a reminder by email to keep your information up to date.

Every six months, we send you and your beneficiaries a postcard reminder to make sure that your insurance company, bank, and address information are up to date in our database.

Then, using only your name, birth date and the last four digits of your Social Security Number (U.S.) or Social Insurance Number (Canada), your beneficiaries can look up critical information in our database to locate the assets you planned to leave to them.

Your Identity and Assets are Secure with FindYourPolicy.com

We do not collect or maintain any information that could be used to fraudulently obtain account information or payouts on assets. Proper identification must be made at the financial institution. We do not know or store your full Social Security/Social Insurance Number, the amount of your life insurance policy, bank account, or safe deposit box contents.

We simply keep you connected.
